About these prices

What exactly are these prices?
Representative weekly prices that member states report to the European Commission for each olive-oil category and market. They describe the market level that week; they are not offers to buy or sell.
Why €/kg?
The EU publishes €/100 kg. Professionals quote €/kg, so OliveRadar divides by 100 and shows both where it helps.
When is the data updated?
The Commission publishes weekly; OliveRadar checks for new data several times a day. Weeks run Monday to Sunday and belong to the marketing year that starts on 1 October.
Why is a value missing?
When a market reports no price for a category or week, the value is shown as “—”. A missing value is never treated as zero or replaced with an estimate.

Prices in €/kg, converted from the €/100 kg published by the EU (÷ 100). How the figures are computed
